Today we had the immense pleasure to assist our discerning clients @studioisgro and @coogeebayhotel on our second round of art installation in their newly renovated facilities.
We were super excited to be working with some exquisitely beautiful artworks by the talented artist @la_early Her artworks completely changed the ambience of the venue, bringing a warm and creative feel to Coogee Bay Hotel’s decor. Her artworks were expertly framed by the team @egganddart.
Their framing workmanship was noticed in the first instance, from the impeccable aesthetics and the quality of the materials used. The Tasmanian Oak finish looked superb!
We helped with our professional advice on placement and the secure installation of numerous art pieces throughout the Coogee Bay Hotel.

Amongst many art hanging and mirror installation projects completed this week, the Team AA&M had the immense pleasure to assist one of our discerning clients with our advice on placement and hanging of a major art-piece by the late Brett Whiteley. The artwork: Orange Fijian Fruit Dove 1988

It has been on display at their property for a good part of 25 years and required some assessment of its hanging hardware, cables etc. for structural safety.
We were very pleased to offer our professional art hanging services un-mounting it and replacing its hanging hardware etc. prior to re-installing it on a fabric covered wall. We made a few adjustments and achieved a better placement for height in relation to other artworks placed in the room, the antique furniture around it and the overall aesthetics.

It’s so great to be out and about in glorious Sydney, with the streets lined up with Jacaranda trees in full bloom, while transporting and hanging some important and amazing artworks!
The Team AA&M started this week by returning to St Paul’s College at Sydney University with a great task of delivering and re-hanging one of their treasured art pieces, a portrait of Sir Alfred Stephen, dated 1889. Sir Alfred Stephen (1802-1894), the NSW Chief Justice and legislator, was the founding trustee of the National Gallery of New South Wales, and a pinnacle of mid-nineteenth century Sydney society.
The frame was expertly restored by the ultra professional and fab team at Sophie Brown Conservation Framing, Stanmore NSW.
We were very pleased to offer our expert advice on the best hardware to use to mount that particular large and heavy piece to a sandstone wall.
A few adjustments were made until we achieved the optimum placement in relation to other artworks in the room, the antique furniture around it and the overall aesthetics of the space.
